Welcome to Plus Size Corset
Corsetry is something that has been in practice since the middle ages, but had disappeared in the middle ages. However of late, it has made a dramatic reappearance to help in bringing back some shape to your body physique.

To cater to the obese, there are also plus size corsets available today. These plus size corsets make it possible for the large sized to wear these lovely undergarments. A corset usually spans from the torso to the lower waist. They were first worn with the intention of altering and controlling the body shape.
However today, there are some adventurous women who prefer wearing it as a specialty outerwear garment. There are also some men who wear corsets, but this is a limited number and is usually worn by men who have medical conditions and use it as an alternative lifestyle garment.
Wearing a plus size corset, or any corset for that matter, can be a rather difficult task. In fact, you may need to have an assistant to help you with its laces too. Here are some tips on how to wear a plus size corset.
First you have to wear all the other clothing you want to wear like stockings, shoes, undergarments, skirts and pants. The reason you have to do this is that you may find it difficult to bend when laced up.
Then you have to lay out your plus size corset to ensure that it’s laced properly. There should be two loops on the sides of waist area and a small knot like a small bow, at the bottom where the lacings end.
The laces have to be loosened till the plus size corset is wide enough to fit around your body. Then you have to wear it, with the buckles in the front and laces in the back. If the corset is right side up, the buckles will fall on the left side of the corset.
The next thing to do is to hook the top hook first, then the waist buckle, the bottom buckle and then go up or down with the remaining buckles of the plus size corset. Adjust the corset fit with your other clothing before lacing and then grasp the top lacing while your assistant tightens the laces from top till the waist.
Loops should extend to the sides and held to maintain upper lacing pressure wherein your assistant should work the laces from bottom up. This has to be repeated once or twice, till you get a snug fit but do not feel any pain.
Then you have to bring the loops to the center of the back and tie a simple bow or tuck them under the lacing for a tidy look. You now are comfortably fit in a plus size corset that makes you look much slimmer than you actually are!
